Ryan Lapour, MD, a graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine is also a native to the area growing up in Salem. His training and experience includes many types of ophthalmic issues including no-stitch cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and treatment, eyelid surgery, and second opinions. While in Residency at the University of Missouri, he participated in multiple community outreach programs targeted at early detection of glaucoma and other vision threatening disorders in the indigent population. During his final year of Residency he honed his leadership skills as the Chief Resident.

He has particularly enjoyed his participation in medical mission trips to India, Nepal, Mexico, and Belize. He also enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, biking, photography, and attempting to golf. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care by getting to know his patients and their families, understanding their unique needs, and by consistently maintaining the highest standards with medical and surgical treatment.
