The Mission of Pacific ClearVision Institute

At ClearVison we want to be the source for all your specialized eye care needs. Since 1989 we have been providing the local community with quality eye care and we are continually looking for ways to improve that care. Our doctors and staff are highly trained in the latest techniques for eye diagnostics and correction. The Medical Doctors and Optometric Doctors at our office are focused on the needs of our patients and helping them achieve their visual goals.

We provide a wide range of services dealing with both the front (cornea, lens and refractive portions), and back (retina) segments of the eye. We deal with all major eye conditions and use the latest surgical and medical techniques to treat them. We work closely with your regular eye doctor or primary health care provider to give you comprehensive care for your eyes. Our facility has the most advanced equipment possible and allows us to diagnose eye conditions in several ways, making it possible to tailor treatments very specifically to your individual needs.

The Role of Your Optometrist

The Role of Your Optometrist By providing medical diagnosis and surgical options, ClearVision completes the eye care picture. Together with your primary eye care doctor, we work to give you the best possible chance for your continued good vision and by doing that, allow you to keep living your life as you choose. We believe that the best eye care can be achieved by utilizing both the professional services of the Ophthalmologist and Optometrist.

Your Optometrist serves as your primary eye care provider while the Ophthalmologists at ClearVison meet your specialized eye care needs. When you visit your Optometrist and a condition is discovered that would require an Ophthalmologist, you will be referred to ClearVison for further diagnosis. We work closely with your doctor to provide specific care for your condition that is tailored to your particular needs. These treatments range from administering medication to complex surgical procedures. After receiving care at ClearVision, our Doctors and your primary eye care physician will cooperatively plan for your recovery, thus providing continuity of care. Both physicians play an important role in the final out come of your vision.

Your Vision, Your Life

Your Life

Like many things, good vision is often overlooked until it either becomes elusive or vanishes altogether. We simply take it for granted and only miss it when it's gone. Several factors, from injury to disease to simply aging, can cause a deterioration of vision.

Regular attention to your eyes is the best way to maintain them. Work closely with your to primary eye care doctor to monitor any changes to your vision. They will be able to spot potential problems and recommend a course of action. That plan may include involving a specialist like one of the doctors at ClearVision.
